Rules: Card Abilities!
Get to know the cards!
In Calendra, there are 120 playing cards.
The cards are divided into five suits that are based on the four regular seasons (winter, spring, summer, & autumn), plus one ‘Ferric’ season to help force an unbalanced way that the other cards interact.
Every season (other than the Ferric) is comprised on an identical set of 25 playing cards, and each card in the game has some sort of ‘Ability’ that affects how it interacts with the other cards.
Though there are over 100 cards in the game, there are only six abilities that these cards might possess:
Swap, Anti-Swap, Anti-Plague, Anti-Weather, Score-Changing, & ‘The Ancient’
Explore this selection of specialized videos to see visual examples of how these abilities look when used in the gameplay!
